Museum Bites – Family food & culture workshops at the Migration Museum. Join us on the first Friday of each month to explore South Australia’s cultural diversity through food. Discover the exciting flavours, textures and colours of the foods that represent the many diverse communities in SA.

FRIDAY 1 APRIL: YAKITORI & ONIGIRI

Yakitori & Onigiri - The Japanese Community in South Australia vibrant and active. Join members of the Community at the Museum to make and taste traditional Japanese finger foods, for picnics, lunch boxes, or snacks,

  • Learn how to make, and taste, Japanese Yakitori & Onigiri
  • Share language, culture and history
  • Family activity – suitable for children 6 years and older.
